Merry meet everyone! I’ve been pretty busy since I last checked in, and a lot has happened since September, so lets get into the update!
Firstly, I’ve been absorbing as much surface-level marketing research as I possibly can. Understanding SEO, searching for reviewers who might be interested, looking at marketing categories, so on and so forth.
Secondly, I’ve started work on a varied portfolio of cover and interior designs that I could show to potential clients and employers. And as a result, Shadow Herald‘s cover has gone through a few different test iterations, which I’ll post on my Patreon. Shadow Herald also now has completed print-copy formatting, and a promising start to its ebook copy! You can access the teaser chapters here via PDF if you’re intrigued.
All in all, this was a really productive October for me. And now that it’s November, it’s time to set new goals for myself. There’s a lot of work to be done if I want to publish Shadow Herald by 2021! Before the end of this month, I want to;
• Complete Shadow Herald‘s ebook formatting and cover.
• Finalize some official summaries and blurbs.
• Contact book bloggers for reviews and set a publishing date for Shadow Herald.
• Finish the first draft for the sequel, Frostbitten Prophet, by way of NaNoWriMo.
